Original Nazi Knitted Wool Pillowcase, and "Vintage" Stocking Cap

This is a very interesting set consisting of a near excellent pre-1945 German knitted wool pillow case in the national colors with a large knitted black swastika within the knitted center white circle. This pillow case measures about 17 1/2" x 17 3/4" and has a black satin cloth backing with an open end to insert the pillow. The second item is a "vintage" (date and place of manufacture unknown) near excellent knitted wool stocking cap in the German national colors with the knitted black swastika within the knitted white circle. The workmanship on this knitted cap is outstanding.

Original Nazi Captured P.38 Pistol Holster with G.I.s Name and Political Eagle

This is a nice "G.I. captured" P.38 black leather hardshell pistol holster by Rudolf Fischer, Lederwarenfabrik, Lengefeld.  The holster features the stamped maker code "eue 43" and WaA 300 eagle/swastika marking along with a "P38" marking. The G.I.'s name "William Michel" is etched onto the inside top cover. Apparently the G.I. affixed a nice aluminum political eagle/swastika badge onto the front flap, with the flap closing strap broken off below the swastika. There is one small puncture hole (shrapnel damage?) to the extra magazine pocket, and some flap edge damage next to the magazine pocket. The stitching along the closing flap top back edge has worn off. Otherwise this is a nice holster and true WWII wartime souvenir. Item #0413-2

Original Nazi War Merit Cross without Swords (Ring marked "36")

This is a near excellent earlier bronze medal with a very nice longer original ribbon. This medal's ribbon ring is stamped with the maker's code "36". This item was purchased directly from the family of the WWII veteran who brought it back as a war souvenir. The veteran’s son found it with a group of WWII German war souvenirs when cleaning out his late father’s closet. Item #0419-9

The father (a WWII veteran) passed this item on to his two sons. The item has been stored in a large wooden chest until I purchased it. Item #0729-28
